Frequently Asked Questions

Often, someone else has wondered the same thing as you. So the answer to your question may already be here if not, contact us through the Tuudo app.

If your student card is not visible, it may be due to a number of reasons.
At the beginning of the semester, you must register as present and, in some cases, pay the related fees. After that, the card becomes valid on the first day of your study right. For example, if your study right begins on August 1, the card will not work during July. After registration, there may also be a short delay of 1–3 days before the card appears, so please wait patiently and make sure to register as present in good time before the semester starts.
Graduating students should note that the validity of the student card ends on the day of graduation, as your study right expires then. The card will not work after graduation, even if you have registered as present for the entire semester and paid the related fees. This is determined by legislation, not by Tuudo.
Updates to Tuudo or your institution’s systems may temporarily prevent the card from working. Check your Tuudo app for update notifications. The card may also be affected by temporary connection issues, which we aim to minimize by keeping your student card stored in the app’s cache.

Sometimes uploading a photo to the student card doesn’t work because Tuudo doesn’t have permission to access your device’s gallery. Please make sure you have granted Tuudo permission to use your photos – you can do this in your device settings. Tuudo never views or stores your photo gallery; the permission is only requested to allow you to add a profile picture to your student card.

When logging in to Tuudo, use the official credentials provided by your institution – the same ones you use to access other institutional services. Do not try to log in with your full email address. The correct username is usually the beginning part of your email address or another designated ID.

If you’re unable to add your library card to Tuudo by following the instructions, please visit your institution’s library. They’ll be able to help you!
